AKC Miniature Schnauzers will be placed in pet homes with limited registration . NO BREEDERS PLEASE!
We are now requiring that each puppy be spayed/neutered within the first year of his life. This is for the benefit and health of our dogs and to prevent unwanted pregnancies, over population and marking territory of males. It is our intention to place each puppy in their permanent home. We do not want any of our puppies or their offspring to potentially flood the dog shelters and pet rescues with unwanted dogs.
Airline travel may be the best means of travel if you are adopting a puppy from a distance that is too far to drive.
1. United Airlines does allow you travel with a puppy of 8 weeks of age or older in the cabin with you in an approved travel carrier for a fee of 125.00.
2. Delta Airlines also allows pets to travel in the cabin with you for the same fee of 125.00 but the puppy must be 10 weeks of age.
For out of state travelers we will deliver the puppy to Memphis International Airport for your convenience for a small charge of 75.00 to cover parking, gas and travel expenses. Please bring the appropriate travel carrier with you.
As of 2020 we will begin to do pet shipping -- within a 400 mile radius the puppy will be driven at a cost of .53 cents per mile to and back from your location. Over 400 miles we will offer shipping at a rate of $550.00 this will include a travel carrier, travel bowls , visit to vet for health certificate and first round of shots. Airline travel will only be available if the temperature permits and in most cases the puppy will have to be at least 9 or 10 weeks old.
Memphis,Tennessee is just minutes away.
Shipping- due to new regulations with the department of labor we are no longer able to ship our puppies. -- as of 2020 shipping and delivery will be available.
There are shipping and delivery services that can come purchase your puppy for you and hand deliver the puppy to your address.
I have no relationship with any of these businesses so I can not validate that they are reputable but I did find them on google as some options for our out of state travelers.
Car Travel-- Traveling by car is the recommended means of picking up your puppy. What may seem like a long drive can become a family fun vacation to Memphis, TN. ,the home of Elvis Presley. The recommended place to look for a motel/hotel would be Olive Branch, MS.
Puppies will come wormed, tails and dew claws removed, limited registration and a puppy starter pack(if available).
Start preparing early and know your puppy is in the best of hands until he/she is ready to come home to you. Puppies will be ready to leave at 6-7 weeks of age.

When considering which breeder to purchase your new puppy from ask yourself is my puppy registered with a national registry that only registers pure bred dogs? If not , you have no way to know for sure what all your puppy really has bred into its genetics. Some registrys state that you have a pure bred puppy but have no way of knowing genetically if that is the case. The American Kennel Club (AKC) is the only nationally recognized registration system that guarantees that your puppy comes from a pure bloodline of Miniature Schnauzers. http://www.akc.org/
I was very selective when I purchsed my dogs . I wanted to be assured that I was breeding high quality, healthy puppies. Many known bloodlines carry genetic disorders that can cause bad skin, allergies, diabetes, eye sight problems, blood disorders and short life spans. Although I can not guarantee that you will never encounter any of these problems, I can assure you that I am aware of them and have taken many precautions to provide you the best puppy available.
