Pannell's puppies are pure bred and registered through the American Kennel Club

   A.  What does this mean for you? It means we have a verified genetic bloodline/DNA registered to document the breeding of only pure-bred miniature schnauzers. When you have a pure line not a mixed breed line you will be breeding the characteristics of the breed repetitively. In a mixed breed line you may pull characteristics of one breed in one puppy but the next puppy may look completely different because it had more characteristics of one of the other breeds. You won't be sure what you are getting.
   B.  What are these characteristics? Hypo-allergenic and non-shedding. This breed is known to have a double coat of hair
(not fur). This means that this breed will require regular haircuts because unlike fur, you cannot just brush it out. Other characteristics are the terrier size, intelligence, obedience, willingness to please, and loving personality. This also includes their health. We are careful to select only healthy bloodlines that do not have issues with common schnauzer .
   C.  What can you expect with a miniature schnauzer puppy?

As with all puppies you can expect your puppy to need plenty of training, affection, socialization and play. Your puppy will grow and learn rapidly. Unlike large breed dogs your puppy will be close to full grown size by the time they are 10 months old. They also mature closer to 1 year old vs a large breed puppy which is still very much in the puppy stage for almost 2 years. Your miniature schnauzer puppy will need you to be the leader so he can feel confident that he is safe to explore, learn and rest when necessary.
    D. What will my puppy need from me? Your puppy will need a quality puppy food to help him grow and mature. Plenty of water at all times. Puppies will need a series of shots, heartworm protection and flea & tick prevention. I also highly recommend a crate for your puppy to sleep in and to be safe while your not supervising him. All puppies of all breeds chew. Puppies are not born knowing what is safe to chew on and what they should not chew on so please provide your puppy with plenty of toys and non rawhide bones to chew on. Safety is the biggest concern when choosing these items. Then your puppy will need rules. Puppies thrive off rules. They need to know where they can use the potty, where they can sleep, who they can trust, what they are allowed to do and not do. You are responsible for teaching your puppy. And most importantly they need love and affection after all this should be the reason you chose a puppy.
